SV#4 Unit I Concept 2- Graphing Logarithmic Functions

In this Video you have keep in mind that for the y-intercept and in order to find the key points you must use the change of base formula. For the x-intercept you have to remember to set it equal to zero and for the y-intercept you must plug in zero. Try not to mix the two around. When plugging in the equation in your graph make sure that you close the parenthesis. NOTE: Don't focus on the graph because it wont look like yours, just press 2nd graph to see the table for that graph which is all you care about.

SP#3 Unit I Concept 1-Graph & Apps of Exp & Log Functions

In this video you should play attention to whether or not the graph will be below or above the asymptote. Once you figure that out, should be below by the way, you have to plot your key points and remember that the 3rd number should be what h equals and after that find the asymptote it should be y= k. In this case it should be y =2. Then solve for 0 when finding the x-intercept and to find the y-intercept you should plug in 0. Along the way you should be graphing the points you start to find out and then find the domain and in this case it would be negative infinity to positive infinity. In order to find the range you have to read the graph from left to right.

SV#3 Unit H Concept 7- Finding logs with given approximations

In this video you have to pay attention to the clues that were provided. You have to make sure that you include that clues that are not give but that are there. For example log base four of four is 1 and log base b of 1 is 0. After you get that then make sure to multiply or divide them to equate them to you solution. Once you have that done expand your clues with the given properties of logs.

SV#2: Unit G Concepts 1-7 - Finding all parts and graphing a rational function

This video should help you learn how to figure out the Slant and Vertical Asymptotes along with the holes of a given equations Remember you have to factor and and use long division in order to get your equation. Note that when you do long division you should not worry about the remainder because all you care about are the top number and you HAVE to be in the y=mx+b form. Dont forget that in oder to find the holes you have to use what you took out, then set it equal to zero and plug it back in to the places that do not have pancakes. Make sure that when you right you limit notation to don't get scared because on you calculator it might not look how its suppose to just know that the graph have to look like my example graph.
